Ope Onaboye is the co-founder and CEO of Renda Africa and founder of SCALE Platforms Limited, building logistics and financial infrastructure for Africa’s movement of goods and people. With over a decade of entrepreneurial experience, he has built and led businesses in Nigeria and the UK, including Proten International and 360Verify.
Under his leadership, Renda grew from a bootstrapped venture into a business serving hundreds of companies, securing international investment to support its technology-enabled logistics platform.
Building on his experience in logistics, Ope developed and spun-out SCALE to expand access to finance for commercial mobility operators. Its pilot reached over 5,000 operators, demonstrating demand for financial services designed around their working lives. A member of the Harambeans Class of 2026, Ope brings practical experience in bootstrapping, fundraising, strategic partnerships and building resilient businesses across African markets.
